Dioptra helps with ITD District 5’s First Mobile Mapping Project
Dioptra teamed with R.E.Y. Engineers out of Folsom, CA to assist in its first Mobile Scanning/Mapping project for the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) District 5 in Bear Lake County (Caribou County Line to Nounan Rd.). Dioptra was tasked to set 110 mobile scanning targets and provide coordinate and elevation values on all target locations. Dioptra will also provide validation/verification surveys along the entire 12-mile corridor for R.E.Y. and ITD in Spring 2017. The coordinates were collected using The Utah Reference Network (TURN), Dioptra’s first major project using this network.
